Mask is very light to me. Love the visibility and of course the protection of provides from impact. Only umpire mask I will use.

I purchased the Force 3 Defender mask and I love it! I was using a Wilson pro series bucket mask behind the plate, and likes the protection, but hated the weight and how bulky it was. I checked out the F3 mask at Purchase Officials in Akron, Ohio and knew immediately I wanted it. I was behind the plate that evening and took two foul balls off the mask, one was a ‘kill shot’ and the other was at eye level. I barely felt either of those. If you are thinking of replacing your mask, I wouldn’t trust anything other than my F3 Defender!

My son (13 years old)got the pro set for Christmas. Took him to training today and he took one on the mask, I think it was intentional. Popped right out of his crouch and said “I couldn’t even feel it”. I would like to add he was catching a Mercer University pitchers bullpen, throwing 88.7. Must say very impressed and will be a new advocate for this gear.
